I built my unRAID rig in April of last year and it's been wonderful, with some annoyances that it seems are with my choice of motherboard. I bought this motherboard https://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-LGA1151-Intel-Motherboards-GA-Z170X-UD5/dp/B012N6EW6G. My Windows VM is used as a gaming machine. I haven't been able to follow any guides for USB pass-through and now I'm trying to add another video card for another VM and it wont start because the video cards are on the same PCI lane or something like that. Are there any motherboards that have good separation so that I can pass through a USB controller or two and also have the video cards in separate groups?
