February 19, 20179 yr Have you installed the network drivers off the virtio CD? They are needed to access the network. If in the VM settings you have virbr0 selected as the network option then although the VM will be able to connect out the VM will not be visible on the local LAN as this is a NAT style adapter If you want the VM to be visible on the local LAN then you need to use the br0 network option.
