Mapping Shares to Web Root

Featured Replies

Just installed the Apache Plugin and its working, but I'm looking for a way to map a share to the /srv/httpd/htdocs.  Is it proper practice just to rename the Document Root in the httpd.conf file?  i.e. /mnt/user/webroot?  Then to build out websites from there?

Bump?

You'd need to read the Apache docs for best practices. Have you considered using symlinks?

I've not used symlinks.  Not setup Apache, just done web/app development.  I've setup apache in a local environment before (Xampp) but that did all the config...

By Apache docs, I'm assuming you're pointing to the Apache.org user guide?
