February 23, 20179 yr I signed up for email notifications. Now I don't want them. I just can't see an option to disable it! I have changed the creds for the time being to prevent unraid from sending me emails but I get an error on the command prompt saying "ssmtp: authorization failed blah blah". Can I just not simply disable it?
February 23, 20179 yr Community Expert Settings - Notifications. Each notification type has a checkbox that determines how you get notified.
February 24, 20179 yr Author The tick boxes are greyed out and won't let me un check email. Anyway, I clicked on the default button and that has removed the ticks. But I still can't clear the smtp fields. It still shows my email address etc. and if I clear that and apply, it says invalid email address.
February 24, 20179 yr There are settings that the admin can set / change which prevent certain notification fields from being user-editable. Sounds like some of those fields are restricted from editing by admin (could be the default config).
February 24, 20179 yr Community Expert I assumed you were talking about the Notifications from unRAID, but I think autumnwalker is talking about forum notifications. Which is it?

While I don't think there is any real reason to completely disable the email notifications (fix the credentials problem), you can delete and/or edit /config/plugins/dynamix/dynamix.cfg on the flash drive.

February 25, 20179 yr Fair enough. I just hope that in lieu of that you have set up pushbullet notifications. (or visit your server's webUI constantly) so that you know if / when an issue happens with your server that is going to require your attention.
