WebUI not responding second times in a row since v6.3.2

Featured Replies

Hi,

so for the second time now whithin two days my webUI crashed and I'm not able to access it anymore.

Both times I had the preclear plugin running. I did not know how to check via command line if the preclear finished so I just used 'powerdown' and 'poweroff' to shutdown my server,

Unfortunately, the server did not shutdown and after some time I wasn't even able to login per telnet anymore so I had to use the powerbutton resulting in a parity check after restart (finding 0 errors).

A few minutes ago it was exactly the same but I tried to capture diagnostics before using the powerdown command via telnet. Well, it seems that it did not finish correclty and I had to use the powerbutton again.

This never happened to me before upgrading to v6.3.2 so I kind of 'hope' it's related to this release.

Anyone got an idea?

I would tend to suspect that you are running out of memory and the OS is dumping the GUI interface to recover a bit to use for currently running processes.  This belief is reinforced by the fact that you are using the the preclear plugin when it happens.  You might try shutting down a few of your Dockers or VM's but since I don't use any of these, I don't which ones are 'memory hogs'.
