February 26, 20179 yr In my new unraid server I have a 2tb drive that I'm using as my parity drive, a 2tb drives to be used for NAS storage, and a 1tb drives I'm going to use to install windows as a VM. My question is how can I have the NAS drives parity itself on the parity drive, but not the VM drive? Thanks, unraid noobie
February 26, 20179 yr Assign the 1TB VM drive to the cache slot. That will allow you to follow all the tutorials pretty much as is, the cache drive is assumed to be the destination for dockers and vm domains.
