Is it possible to write extensions that add information to the unraid dashboard? I did a little searching and didn't find much info (or i'm just bad at searching).  For example, i'd love to be able to write a script that shows info about the number of current streams or connected users to a plex container and have it show up there, sort of like how the UPS summary works.  I know plexpy exists, and I do use that, but having select info at a glance on the dashboard would be pretty nice.

Yes. There are already plugins that upgrade / update the UI, like master browser or fan control or system temps, etc.

I wonder if this would not be a better thing to do as an Add-On to Firefox and Chrome. This way the info is there no matter which web page you are browsing.

 

I just do not have any skills to do eeither.
