March 3, 20179 yr Sadly the v6 Marvel Bug has popped its ugly head up prompting me to move from the long trusty SASLP to an H310 SAS controller as per: CPU - Intel i5-2500 - vt-d enabled Motherboard- Asus P8H77-V LE (Intel H77 Sata Controller) 6x 4 TB XFS HGST HDN724040ALE640 7200 rpm drives (3 data, 2 parity, 1 warm spare) 1x 2 TB BTRFS WD20EARS The Dell Perc H310 is a PCI-e x8 based on the LSI SAS2008 dual SAS Controller- flashed to Firmware P20.00.07.00 The Supermicro AOC-SASLP-MV8 is a PCI-e x4 based on the Marvell 6480 dual SAS Controller - flashed to Firmware 3.1.0.21 SASLP - Data Drives Only H77 - Cache & Dual Parity Drives9 hours 56 minutes SASLP - Data, Cache & Dual Parity Drives10 hours 36 minutes H310 - Data, Cache & Dual Parity Drives8 hours 2 minutes I am curious if moving the Dual Parity back to the H77 will result in further reductions... March 3, 20179 yr Dunno if it helps you or not, I'm running the M1015 (LSI same as H310) with seagate 8tb's and I parity check at 125MB/s?Not sure if that's good or not?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
