Upgrading v6.2.3 -> v6.3.1 won't finish

Featured Replies

I'm currently running version 6.2.3 and I see a notice in red that says "unRAID OS v6.3.1 is available.  Download Now".  When I click on the "Download Now", the Update Plugin kicks in and it downloads the zip and md5, starts inflating and extracting but then stops at:

inflating: /tmp/unRAIDServer/syslinux/syslinux_linux

Then nothing...

Here are the last entries in the Log:

Anyone knows what's going on?

Thanks!

How much RAM do you have installed?

8GB is loaded on this older machine.  That's all it can take.

Thanks!

You can do the upgrade manually.  (For peace of mind, I  would recommend stopping the array and copying the entire contents of the flash drive to a folder on another PC.) Download the latest version from LimeTech manually.  Unzip it and copy the three files in the root folder that begin with "bz" to the root of your flash drive.  You will be overwriting those three existing files on the drive.  Reboot the system.

I'll give that a try and let you know how it went.

Thanks!
