March 4, 20179 yr Hello All, 1) I have just added an SSD to my array as a cache drive, but it is almost filled up and i do not see the info "moving" up to the Hard drives. I think I may be doing something wrong is there a way someone can explain to me how it work exactly? How do i force file to move to the array. 2) The parity drive just says failed, and it will not turn on. I have 3x2TB drives in my array and 1x3TB drive in my parity pool. 3) How do i move all of my stuff from a previous install of unRAID to the proper drives? Can i just move them up directly to the drives at random? This was a previous install of unraid that just had an SSD. I started to get an explanation to this problem in this form link but i want to make sure i move the stuff up correctly. Thank You, Kevin

If you want to execute the mover manually, navigate to the Main tab of the web GUI. At the bottom there is a "Move now" button. Your data may be at risk. You could have a bad or loose sata cable, power cable, or the drive itself is bad. Have you tried running a smart report? Do you have two servers? Or by "previous install of unRAID" do you mean you have a new flash stick? I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to do here.
March 9, 20179 yr Community Expert You should always go to Tools - Diagnostics and post complete zip. I would just assign the SSD as cache and work with it that way. You can get mover to move any of its user shares to the parity array by setting them to cache-yes.
