installed the "unassigned devices pluggin" and it's not working.

the main screen see's the ssd drive but is leaving it under unassigned and it's "green" button is not on.

once i stop the array, i can assigned manually the device to be my cache drive,... pia as i have to do this all the time.

can someone help me pls.

Try a different browser

Also try booting in safe, assign cache and reboot, it should stick then.

thank you for your reply.--- second option worked .... thank you!!!!

here's what i got

i tried using firefox instead of chrome and the ssd drive still didnt get assigned to cache nor it show active (green) just grayed out.

then i re-assigned the cache with firefox, reboot in safe and this time the ssd drive and my other drive outside of the array were under unassigned with blue little triangles instead of gray or green circles.

- i stop the array

- i re-assigned the cache drive (still in safe mode) and started

- went to see my dockers and some had not started at all (which is taught it was ok assuming it's due to safemode)

- i re-stopped the array , rebooted...

BAM the cache device was assigned to the SSD automatically!!!

all dockers are up and running no problem
