Low speed on file transfer (over network and usb)

Hi

 

Just set up my first unRAID server, and I am experiencing extremely low transfer speeds when trying to copy my existing content onto the server.

With an external usb hdd connected directly to the server, I am seeing a tranfer rate of 1MB/s. Over the network I am seeing transfer rates of maybe up to 2MB/s.

 

I have tried assigning my parity drive (a 3TB WD RED) as a data device, this has not had any effect.

I tried copying to a disk share instead of a media share, but to no avail.

 

Must admit that i am a little lost at this point, so any help would be appreciated.

 

I have attached syslog and diagnostics, hope it helps.
