March 29, 200719 yr Anyone think this board will work? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813121052 I'm trying to replace my P5PE-VM after my NIC died and thought I may give a newer board a try. I think the chipset will work but I'm not sure about the Intel 82566DC Lan. From a quick look at the manual it looks like it will boot from USB, just not sure about USB 2.0. Chris
March 29, 200719 yr The 82566DC is supported by the normal linux Intel Pro/1000 driver. I think this might be a winner!

If this works the world of possible motherboards is getting pretty big... Chris Now you know why new feature development has paused while we've been moving to 2.6.
