extremly slow

Featured Replies

I just installed Unraid i precleared my 2 2TB hard drives and i wanted  to transfer some files before i do a parity  sync. I also installed the sabnzbdplus 5.0 package. The problem i get is Sabnzbd will download at 3MB/s for a few minutes and then it will becomes slow takes like 5min for it to load a page and speed drops to 0. The shares i can download from the at 13MB/s but if i try to put a files on the share it goes very slow or it says it couldn't connect. If i reboot the system speed comes again but drops after a few minutes same if i reboot the router i have had sabnzbd running on a ubuntu system and it was working fine. I have tried a bran new cable cat5e. Also i noticed that sabnzbd once completed a download but extracting became extremely slow something like 200KB per min. Oh also when this happens sometimes it wont connect to unraid at all it will say firefox failed to connect and i have to retry a few times.

any ideas what it could be?

any ideas what it could be?

No, because a syslog covering the time of the events you describe is needed for any analysis.

i didn't see anything in syslogs that's why i didn't post it but here it is. I just installed sabnzbd on my windows computer to see if it is the router but it had no problems.

i got rid of sabnzbd to see if that's the problem. I tried to transfer a video 1.5Gb and it transfers around 5% then speed starts to drop to 0.

i didn't see anything in syslogs that's why i didn't post it but here it is. I just installed sabnzbd on my windows computer to see if it is the router but it had no problems.

That syslog covers about 2 seconds of time from 23:23:13 to 23:23:15.  I somehow do not think it has the clues needed.

General advice, perform a file-system check on each of your file-systems.  Instructions in the wiki:

will try that but what i did was install 4.4.2 so far i was able to transfer the file to the share no drop in speed same with sabnzbd could this be a bug in 4.5.3?

I cant right now still using 4.4.2 and its working fine i don't know if i want to switch back to 4.5.3. Isn't the syslog i posted the whole thing?

Is this normal? i know disabled save bios to disk in bios. http://www.wdc.com/en/products/products.asp?driveid=773 here it says User Sectors Per Drive 3,907,029,168 im so confused. System file check said no corruption so i don't know what to do. If you look at the logs all my drives do this. I still think my problem is some kind of bug in 4.5.3 why else does 4.4.2 work perfect.
