Really slow

Featured Replies

Yes I am newbie, but learning lots.

After allowing my home build burn in for a couple of days, I am starting to setup and copy over files.  My expectations where a bit dashed due to write speeds of 2-3MB/sec for both a 4GB and 6GB file.

unRAID Server Pro Ver 4.5.3

My build from the recommendations:

MB: Supermicro C2SEA

Q8200 Quad 2.33GHz

4GB DDR3/1333

5 drives attached using 5 in 3 Supermicro CSE-M35T, all attached to SATA connections direct to MB.

I have the Adaptec 1430SA cards but have not installed yet.

Here attached is the syslog.

Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks,

This part of your syslog doesn't look good to me:

Looks like broken spindown logic: unRAID is working on disk3 and disk4,

and at the same time is constantly trying to spindown disk3 and disk4, over and over again.
