Am now running parity-sync which is running at about 60k - I hope you mean 60 MB/s or more? Good to hear that you sorted your issue, the mobo was causing you the hassle.

 

yes, 60mb/s or so - taking about 450 minutes for system with 2tb parity and 750gb data.

Very good! i'm actually jumping ship, moving away from a Gigabyte board and I'm thinking about buying an Asus M4A785T-M just because of this HPA fiasco. Quite worrying that you can have a corrupt raid array over a stupid BIOS setting! i'll be converting my current unraid's board into a Windows based PC.
