Does the Apache Struts 2 bug affect WebGUI?

Featured Replies

I just saw this post about a bug in Apache Struts 2. Does this affect WebGUI in any way? I'm not sure what it's built on.

I know none of us should have our server's web interface exposed outside the personal network, but it would be good to get the patch applied ASAP if it's necessary

The WebGUI for unraid currently is custom written, not built on any current framework. That fact is one reason why we can't expose it to the net, flaws have been found and fixed, but there probably others that haven't been discovered yet.

Theoretically it will be based on NGINX in the future.
