March 10, 20179 yr Probably means that the flash drive doesn't have a unique ID. What model of flash drive are you trying to use?

March 10, 20179 yr You really want to install unRAID on a quality USB flash drive, anyway. Your unRAID license will be tied to the unique ID and while it can be moved to another one that's inconvenient -- so you don't want a cheap one that's going to crap out on you. I use a SanDisk Cruzer Fit but there are many good, inexpensive choices.
