Steen
When I tried to purchase a Key for my new unRAID installation I get an e-mail saying : "Your GUID 090C-1000-++++-++++++++++++ is invalid" What do I do ? Quote Link to comment
wgstarks
Probably means that the flash drive doesn't have a unique ID. What model of flash drive are you trying to use? Quote Link to comment
Steen
It is just a cheap USB flash that i received with some files from a company. Is there any way to give it a unique ID ? Quote Link to comment

tdallen
You really want to install unRAID on a quality USB flash drive, anyway. Your unRAID license will be tied to the unique ID and while it can be moved to another one that's inconvenient -- so you don't want a cheap one that's going to crap out on you. I use a SanDisk Cruzer Fit but there are many good, inexpensive choices. Quote Link to comment
garycase
Definitely agree -- high quality flash drives are under $10 these days. This is an excellent choice for UnRAID: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA12K22V7255 Quote Link to comment
