Cant Delete File

Featured Replies

Just wondering, I've had a broken " Straight Outta Compton " Movie file in my incomplete downloads folder for a very long time on my unraid 6 server. It won't let me delete these files. There apparently 88 nameless items of about 50 MB each. I get the " The file name is not valid or too long. Specify a different file name. "

Trying to rename it gives me the " This action cannot be complete because the file is open in another program "

Not really sure how to get rid of it.

Try using midnight commander or Krusader.

If you still get the "file is open" error, you will have to make sure the relevant app is not running.  If you aren't sure what that is, you might try booting in Safe Mode, so that no plugins or other apps are started.  If you still get it, you may have to disable even more, like Dockers and/or VM's.
