Good day Crew,

 

What is the preferred way to pass an ODD for use in a Windows 7 Guest in KVM?  Hopefully without having to pass an entire PCI controller through...

 

Back in the XEN days I figured out how to reliably pass-though a SATA based BD/DVD/CD-Rom drive to the Guest Windows 8.1 so that it was always usable... but what a PITA!
