March 23, 201016 yr The new drives recently talked about on Tech sites are starting to come out. The ones XP had a problem with. March 23, 201016 yr I don't think there IS a jumper. XP users are having to use drive overlay software if I've read correctly. The jumper may not come with the drive but you can buy them and jumper the 7-8 pins and "fix" the issue for now.
