Mar 24 05:05:21 Tower kernel: md: sync done. time=29401sec rate=66443K/sec

Mar 24 05:05:21 Tower kernel: md: recovery thread sync completion status: 0

2TB Hitachi parity with a 8.08 TB array

There a few errors from my missing UPS. I didn't spot anything out of the ordinary. If you spot anything please let me know.

I haven't had a chance to work on WOL so can't say if it works or not. I'll address both once I get a replacement APC UPS.

cheers

does all your disk sizes end in 552 bytes?

All but the last one yes

I don't think so.

I recently swapped my motherboard so all the drives were previouly formated and part of a array (asus). The sizes reported are consistant with my old motherboard. HPA was disabled on the new MB (Gigabyte) before I started the swap

My array is basically all 1TB drives so it should report as "976,762,552" or am I misinformed here?

fromw hat i understand pretty much every hdd in teh last 10 yeras will end at 552 bytes.

Finally got this added to the Hardware Compatibility Page.  It took me a while (been busy looking for a house) but everything looks good.

If/When you get to level 2 let me know by updating this thread and sending me a PM.
