So I had everything running great on my unraid server and realized I needed to make hardware adjustments for it to do what I wanted. During the week or so that I was waiting for gpu's to arrive I used my usb for other stuff not realizing that it would mess up the flash guid. So once I got my gpu's installed and plugged in the same exact usb but with a fresh unraid on it it says that i need to purchase again. My question is why is the flash guid different since I used the same exact usb device? Does it change because I removed the original files with fresh? I assumed that it was a hardware id that it was linked to. Feeling stupid, and the worst part is I cannot find the registration email to just link it to the flash drive again. Feeling stuck. Any help would be great. Thanks

The flash guid doesn't change. What evidence do you have that it did? Do you know what it was before? Do you know what it is now?

Most likely you just didn't save your key file which is the license that goes with that flash guid. You will have to contact limetech if you can't find it. There is a contact link at the bottom right of the forum.

First off thanks for responding. I guess my thinking was that the registration key is linked to the flash guid so if it was the same guid then it wouldn't be asking me to purchase unraid again. I went ahead and emailed them about my situation. Somehow i need to get my registration key back and I should be good. Just hoping they don't say without that emial, I'm out of luck. Thanks Again
