March 18, 20179 yr Hi, I just tried to set up a Windows 10 (64-bit) VM and wanted to use my Nvidia Quadro FX3500 as passedthrough graphics card. When I try to start the VM, I get the following Error: internal error: qemu unexpectedly closed the monitor: 2017-03-17T18:54:25.969079Z qemu-system-x86_64: -device vfio-pci,host=07:00.0,id=hostdev0,bus=pci.0,addr=0x5: vfio: failed to set iommu for container: Operation not permitted2017-03-17T18:54:25.969112Z qemu-system-x86_64: -device vfio-pci,host=07:00.0,id=hostdev0,bus=pci.0,addr=0x5: vfio: failed to setup container for group 192017-03-17T18:54:25.969117Z qemu-system-x86_64: -device vfio-pci,host=07:00.0,id=hostdev0,bus=pci.0,addr=0x5: vfio: failed to get group 192017-03-17T18:54:25.969129Z qemu-system-x86_64: -device vfio-pci,host=07:00.0,id=hostdev0,bus=pci.0,addr=0x5: Device initialization failed The Graphics Card is showing up correctly.
