[SOLVED] unraid won't boot

Featured Replies

Was trying to upgrade to 6.3.2 and during the upgrade it was hanging on inflating syslinux, so I thought I would give the server a reboot to try to resolve the issue, now my server won't boot.

It gets to the OS Selection Screen (unRaid OS, unRiad Gui, safemode, memtest, etc) but it never boots.

It just keeps saying automatic selection in 5..4...3...2...1 and then repeats and never boots?

What can I do to get back up and running?

Pull the USB and make a copy of the drive by pulling it into a folder of your desktop, then go to lime-technology site and download the zip. Extract and copy the 3 "bz" files to the root of the USB drive and pop it back in you NAS. Should boot and it gives you assurance you have a copy of your drive should something go south.

That did it, the bz files were missing entirely.

Thanks for the help!
