March 21, 20179 yr Community Expert Turn off the auto-starting the array. Stop dockers and VM's from auto-starting. Install all of the old HD's into the new build. Plug the Flash Drive into a USB2 port. Boot the server and and verify that everything is correctly assigned. Start the other things up slowly and fix any problems as you go. (unRAID is pretty much hardware agnostic but the same can not be said for VM's.)
March 21, 20179 yr Adding to what Frank1940 has already said, Just make sure you take a screen shot of your drive layout and have it handy for the reboot and check your drives before starting the Array in your new machine.
March 22, 20179 yr Author Great info I did not even think about that, I should of been more precise on my question, Can I just remove flash drive over without the other drives?

Do you wish to keep ANY information from the old build? If not, then it's easy. Save your license file somewhere, format and reinstall unraid to the USB just like you did originally, copy the license file back, done.
March 22, 20179 yr Author Thank you, No i was not going to keep any data from old drives . I am going to try that tonight!
March 22, 20179 yr Community Expert Before you reformat that Flash Drive, make a backup copy of that drive! You probably want to carry forward some of your settings like password, server name, IP address method, share names and their settings. That information is transferable. For information on which files contain what see this section of the upgrade WIKI: http://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php/Upgrading_to_UnRAID_v6#Files_on_flash_drive
