MSI Gaming APP and VM's

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Has anyone had any luck using the MSI Gaming App with their VM's?  I'm asking because despite the poor ratings the software gets, it's the only way I know of that I can change the color of my Dukes to match the rest of my build.

For those who aren't sure what I am talking about, I believe there is a level of hardware abstraction between the GPU and VM such that the Gaming App can no longer identify the specific model of card.  The error MSI pops up is a generic "This platform is not supported" that corresponds to a thousand posts on the internet about people either having AMD systems or forgetting they bought the non-led variant (I know this isn't the case, I have the Gaming Carbon Mobo and two Dukes that specify the hardware).
