Drive temps during parity check

Featured Replies

Screen shot of the drives in my super micro 36bay chassis during parity check today. The server is under a desk in my warm office. Temps are pretty good, but then the server is really loud all the time with the fans going.

Lol sure I'll get right on that ;-)

Wow! That's impressive [emoji16]

Mine got to about 102F when I did my build.

Sent for my OnePlus 3T

That's a motley collection of drives right there.  It makes my OCD twitch.

Much less chance of simultaneous failure though. :D

Random collections don't bother me, but the random ordering of the collection does.

If it were my server, all the like drives would be assigned to adjacent slots.

I like my 'motley' collection thank you very much ;-)

They are hard drives....I could care less about how they are organized, but for you OCD folks out there, I get it :-)

I recently picked up a used 12U Startech rack that I am going to put this beast into, the rack will fit under my desk so hopefully it will reduce the noise.
