Can't the Sempron 140 also have the second core unlocked?

Can't the Sempron 140 also have the second core unlocked?

It is possible but on a server where you want stability, not worth it IMO. Potentially the second core could have not passed testing. Regardless the Sempron 140 is a very decent processor for an unRAID machine (it's the CPU I use).

I agree with gabbott that it isn't worth it, unless maybe you use for server for something CPU intensive like video encoding.  However, for general use unlocking the second core will just make your server use (waste) more power, and you won't see any performance increases because of it.
