NFS Stale File Handle (version 6.3.2)

I have been getting stale file handle errors in my ubuntu 16.04 vm's.  After mounting a drive it takes 24-48 hours and then I start getting the stale file handle error.  

Any ideas what may cause this?  Any logs I can look at that may help narrow it down?

    Well I found what is probably the fix for my problem, and I changed the value to -1.
