Hi there can anybody help me .

I built an unraid server with 1x parity(1TB) and 1x160 gig disk as i was looking for  expandable server for our network.

every thing was fine until tuesday when I had a power cut

now I cant access any files /movies on my server.

I can see them but cannot read or write,  every time I try and access them, my system ,windows 7 home premium  hangs

I can ping the address ok

Ive tried wiping my flash and reloading Unraid but no joy everything looks good in unraid  so Im a little lost

I know nothing about linux so im stummped

any ideas would be helpful.

system 2pcs via netgear router  1xxp and 1x win7

I am having a similar issue only this is a new build and I am trying to copy files to the array and get a read/write error on my desktop.  Did you ever get this issue resolved?

You guys should seriously consider updating to a newer build. I know for sure that some older builds had issues with Windows7 and those problems should be rectified with 4.7
