March 31, 20179 yr Not looking to get my old vms back. What am I doing wrong? Edited March 31, 20179 yr by ksculland Solved
March 31, 20179 yr Community Expert Post your diagnostics but this is usually the result of a corrupt libvirt.img
March 31, 20179 yr Author I was just getting and looking over the diagnostics: found this Mar 31 09:52:35 AMD6Core emhttp: shcmd (10599): set -o pipefail ; /usr/local/sbin/mount_image '/mnt/cache/VMs/IMG/' /etc/libvirt 500 |& logger Mar 31 09:52:35 AMD6Core root: /mnt/cache/VMs/IMG/ is not a file Mar 31 09:52:35 AMD6Core emhttp: err: shcmd: shcmd (10599): exit status: 1 how do I create a new libvirt.img?
March 31, 20179 yr Community Expert On the 1st screenshot "libvirt storage location" you need to select the img, not the folder like it's currently.
March 31, 20179 yr Community Expert write the name in the path, e.g.: /mnt/cache/libvirt.img And click apply.
April 1, 20197 yr I found this thread and tried the solution with no effect. I get this error Quote Mar 31 21:59:04 Tower emhttpd: shcmd (99): /usr/local/sbin/mount_image '/mnt/user/VM Images/virtio-win-0.1.126-2.iso' /etc/libvirt 1 Mar 31 21:59:04 Tower root: mount: /etc/libvirt: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/loop3, missing codepage or helper program, or other error. This is even after I added the .iso to the VM Settings page. The VM page is still blank. What am I (unraid noob) missing here?
