[SOLVED] Can't attach Logitech HD Pro C920 Webcam To Windows VM

I'm struggling to attach my Logitech HD Pro C920 Webcam to my VM.  I used to do it by using a USB controller that was passed through, but I can't do this now.  

 

Sometimes I can attach it using the hotplug plugin, but that's rare and not ideal as when I've managed that I can't restart the VM unless I remember to detach.

 

Are they any clues in my diagnostics?  Thanks

    try passing through a pci usb card. 10-15 bucks delivered. will probably solve your problems the easy way vs fighting something that has shown you to be flaky.

    I used to do that, but I've used up all my PCI slots now and if i passthrough my motherboard controllers i lose usb3 slots (x99 mobo)
