April 8, 20179 yr Just like how it sounds. I can start a connection via the dashboard but often seconds later when switching a tab or selecting a link to view more information the session will hang and eventually time out. When this timeout is occurring I cannot SSH to the server. I was running 6.3.2 when this began just over a week ago. I performed an installation of 6.3.3 to the USB and then copied a few files for drive settings and shares, and the issue persisted. Just minutes ago I performed a clean installation of 6.3.3 to the USB and was going to rebuild as parity correct but the connection issue happened again. Funny enough, it happened this time while attempting after inputting my Plus key and clicking install. Last several times this occurs I can access the dashboard again after 30min to an Hour, I'll try my key again and try to generate a log. Edited April 8, 20179 yr by TheFullTimer

You might want to install the Fix Common Problems plugin, and toss it into troubleshooting mode, then replicate the issue and then upload FCPsyslog_tail.txt and the last set of diagnostics generated (logs folder on the flash drive)
April 8, 20179 yr Author When I access the server and attempt to assign drives the connection times out. So I am currently sitting with a clean install running on a USB and network time outs when I attempt to make changes via Dashboard. I did reboot a few hours ago after I wrote the first post and tried to launch the GUI but it didn't load, just a cursor. So I went back to standard boot. As well, this issue persists if I use any of the four network ports on the motherboard. tower-diagnostics-20170407-2135.zip
April 9, 20179 yr Author I don't see any glaring issues in the Logs. Could this be an issue with the USB drive or something stalling when there are requests or changes? For completeness I ran the MemTest86 version included for about 12 hours with no errors.
April 11, 20179 yr Author I've cleared the cmos, formatted the usb and used it to run a live ubuntu, I experimented with different USB ports, I've checked the storage of the drives, I've used a separate USB to run live ubuntu, I've checked the integrity of all NICS as best as I can, I've run another MemTest86 session, & I've reinstalled Unraid 6.3.3 back onto the original USB. The moment I pasted my Plus key into the session the install key window pops up and then minutes later reports "took too long to respond". Same behavior on another browser, & ssh doesn't connect when this happens. Edited April 11, 20179 yr by TheFullTimer
April 12, 20179 yr Author Interesting development! Not only do I see several other threads with similar issues (but let's keep these all separate for the time being) but I am now able to make connection to my Unraid machine. I did apply another clean install to the original USB using 6.3.3. This time I thought "why the hell not" and performed my entire setup from my Android phone. So my Android phone connected just fine and then I went back to using Chrome on my PC and experienced the same issue as before. I had even attempted incognito sessions to try to rule out browser based issues but with no luck. So I am not making some progress. Fix Common Problems is now running in Troubleshooting Mode and I will have logs from that in the morning. Of course I'll be up late anyway if someone thinks of suggestions
