is there a way to give people a username and use a mobile app IOS & Android to backup Sync peoples phone photos to there own Folder on unriad

Nextcloud and the Android app can do this.

I use Sweet Home!  It uploads automatically every time I connect to my home wifi.

Host 2 Path/data

 

is it best to be the same as all my app   AppData

Sweet Home  what app on unraid do you use for that

 

I'm going to guess Sweet Home just uploads to a smb share when connected to home wifi.  Therefore wouldn't need an app on Unraid

Nextcloud?  I setup a share called nextcloud so mapped /data to /mnt/user/nextcloud

can nextcloud be done outside of my network say over 4g or public wifi

Yes, but I guess Sweet Home could too with a VPN

ive looked on the IOS app store cant find it only home design apps

I'm sure they'd be something similar for iOS

I missed the ios part.  If you want the same on both, you need to use nextcloud.

 

for ios, you can use PhotoSync, but Its not as simple or automatic as Sweet Home on android.

Personally I use  resilio-sync docker and sync my Mac to my unRAID machine. 

 

Of course that would entail 

A Mac

An iPhone

iCloud photosync

 

I just happen to have them all and I just sync my photo app which happens to hold my ever growing 15,000+ pics and Videos in full Resolution. 

For icloud photosync are you referring to photosync app from app store?
I see that it's not updated from 2015.

I'm also looking for a way to "automatically" backup my pictures and videos to my nas.
