[6.3.3] Hard drive issues - disabled

Featured Replies

Precleared a brand new drive. Added lots of data to the machine and the disk is now disabled.

What do I do next?

Does preclear before or after long-test ?

2 long test also fail. Disk should be return.

I am sorry I do not understand the question.

Pretty sure he is telling you to return the disk for refund or new replacement. FWIW I agree with that assessment. Even though the SMART attributes look good, unraid couldn't successfully write to the drive, and it failed 2 extended tests.

You should probably post the diagnostic zip file, hopefully you haven't rebooted since the drive was disabled and the diagnostics will include the disable event.

Yes I have rebooted multiple times. Could this possible be a hardware/cable issue?
