I am right on the brink of ordering it, but I can't find any solid information on whether the SAS controller is supported. I found these 2 previous threads which didn't inspire confidence: I'd have to blow $350 on eBay only to find out I can't use the board in my server.
April 11, 20179 yr don't know about SAS but this board is Enhanced Extended ATX size - you need a specific case to fit it..
April 12, 20179 yr I have two servers with this board in it. Both have dual E5-2670's and 192GB RAM. I am planning to move my Unraid build over to one of them this weekend. I can let you know how it goes and if theres any problems with it.
July 12, 20178 yr @TBSCamCity So what's the verdict? Do the SAS controllers work fine unRAID? I'm looking at getting one of these cases and connecting the SAS ports to some expander cards.
