April 11, 20179 yr I am currently using a 256 mb ssd as cache drive and have my appadata folder and docker img file on it - i run plex, sonarr, sabnzbd, nzbget, sickrage and deluge. My plex library is quite large and to the best of my knowledge having the appadata folder there benefits all of these applications to run faster using appdata folder on ssd? PS having nzbget and sickrage is just temporary until i get time to fix this. I run into the problem that when i move large folders over, the cache drive gets full and the move from a windows machine stops when this happens. Is there a way to have unraid automatically start copying directly to the array vs the cache once the cache is full? I am considering putting a slower hard drive in with large capacity in so i can transfer large amounts of data over to the array - for example a 3tb hard drive - 5tb etc. If i do use a larger slower cache drive should i limit the size to approximately what i can write with the mover in 24 hour period? any advice appreciated. Thanks! - Question, assuming that is for each share and that i would put the largest file size that i might normally copy. Like 9gb for a 1080p bluray. for the movies share and maybe 200mb for mp3 share etc.? Also i see the "floor" space on global share settings, that seems like it should do it all there? i don't think i completely understand. Edited April 11, 20179 yr by FrozenGamer
