Hi, have an issue on my main server. The server has 24 disks in the array, but when I recalculate space on the Media share it shows that only 16 disks are used for that share. The settings for that share are the same as for others that show all 24 disks are used. Diagnostics are attached.

What's the problem though?  You have squat free space available.

I know, just strange that this share behave differently.

Admittedly, I only looked at the free space, saw 100% utilization and didn't look any further.  All depends on when the files were written, was it overwriting existing files on the array, minimum free space on disks, etc.

 

On the other hand, if you expand the array and files aren't going to the new / expanded disk, then it's worthy of a second look....

Well several 3TB disks will be upgraded to 6 TB.
