Yes, there are a number of entirely different things that can be done!!! one port is for direct internet access so i do not need to port forward when i need something connect to my computer, one port is for connect to my router,so i can access my unraid shares

April 16, 20179 yr Conventionally you connect the Unraid server to the router which then connects to your modem. You may well be putting your server in the DMZ connecting it directly to the modem. Why don't you post a lot more detail about your network as this doesn't sound like quite the right approach to me, then we can advise you further.
