January 23, 20233 yr Author I'm trying to understand why a first time setup is having issues. In the meantime, I've found that you can stop and restart the docker and it will settle down and you'll be able to access the web page.

I updated the container, launched it again, Gui not working, i stopped it and restarted it and still no luck. Do you want me to provide the logs ?

I've updated the container, and now i can't see my players anymore (only a Pi with Volumio is visible) on the GUI I have plenty of DLNA/UPNP endpoints that are visible through control apps, but the server doesn't see them on the web interface. Any troubleshooting to fix it ? Thanks

July 5, 20233 yr Hi no I worked out late last night and its my silly. I run Roon as well. Roon has its own LMS server which must not be running as it uses the same port within Roon. So technically yes same port, but no way to know that from unraid.
July 9, 20232 yr @dlandon I just ran into an issue that is really easy to fix. There is no timezone variable in the template. It might be a good idea to add a blank timezone variable that is required, so people have to put their exact timezone in, as without it some automated tasks (Such as alarms) do not fire correctly. It seems that alaerms follow the server time, not the player time.

This solution worked fine (watch for Start in the log, then stop container, then start again). A note of some kind on the CA page would be super helpful.
November 17, 20232 yr Hello. LMS has a plugin called WaveInput. WaveInput requires access to the soundcards. I'm trying to use an external soundcard on the unraid server to play audio through LMS. Is it possible to give LMS soundcard access so that this feature can work? I'm also open to other options. I'm trying to play records, through an external soundcard, through LMS to all my end points. November 17, 20232 yr I just installed this and it loads just as you would expect, however when I play to airplay devices or chromecast devices via the 3rd party plugins then it seems to crash the entire docker after a few minutes. That's all I am currently able to stream to right now. I have tried local media and pandora.

November 19, 20232 yr I apologize if I wasted anyone's time. I had a silly mistake of double assigning the IP of the docker. Something else on the network was already assigned that IP and they were clashing. Once I changed it I have ran it all night without issue.

December 28, 20232 yr Don't worry, realised this was a problem with the airplay bridge plugin that had gotten updated... switching to the static binary seems to have settled everything. 😀
