I have my Movies on an unRAID server. My MacBook Pro runs Emby and it's set to scan for new movies every day at 7am and 4pm.

 

If I have been using the server during the day or just before a scan it works fine.

If I haven't used it recently, when Emby starts scanning it thinks the first 300-odd movies have been deleted and removes them from the library.

 

Is there any way of getting my server to be ready for the scan automatically? Like a scheduled disk spin up?
