No Space On Device

Featured Replies

Been using UnRaid for years.Just upgraded to 6.3.3 from v5. I purchased a new 32gb flash from the recommended list, did a bit by bit format, a clean install, just moving my key /config/shares and ident.cfg.  Fired it up and updated the reg to the new GUID. It fires up, all shares are there, ran New Permissions.  All look good BUT...

If I run anything that attempts to write to the flash, "I get the no space error.  The drive has 29gb free,

Any help would be appreciated.

Post up your Diagnostics file.    'Tools'    >>>   'Diagnostics'  That will write the diagnostic file to the download directory/folder for your browser.  Upload that file with your next post.

One thing to try.  Make sure the Flash Drive is plugged into a USB2 port and NOT a USB3 port.  (Some MB's seem to 'lose' the boot drive when the Flash is in the the USB3 port.)

One more thing, Check the Flash Drive to see that it was formatted with FAT32 and not NTFS.

Thanks for the reply.  This MB only has USB 2.  When I tried to run diagnostics, I see the following " cannot create temp file for here-document: No space on device", ( I assume it is trying to create a temp file on the flash drive) and then I just get a 404 in the gui (calling for the diag on my PC from the gui) and no download.  I actually got another flash drive, full format FAT32,  installed a trial, got a trial key and after a few operations, it did it again.  Here is the diag I grabbed prior to mounting the array.  This is killing me as Unraid has been 100% solid for years under v5.
