March 31, 201016 yr all intel gig chipsets are supported, if your ead the wiki 8 ports means 2 of them arent off the p55, you will need to check what controller it is.
April 1, 201016 yr Author I noticed that the first 6 SATA interfaces are running off the Intel P55 chipset, but the remaining two runs off the Marvell 88SE6145 controller. I can't see any concrete evidence that the Marvell 88SE6145 controller is supported in unraid. Can anyone vouch that this Marvell 88SE6145 controller fully works with unraid 4.5.x? Thanks.
April 1, 201016 yr the SE61 range has support in 4.5.3, but its unkown if onboard variants work due to differnet bioses to discreet cards.
April 1, 201016 yr Author Thanks for the tip. It seems like a recaly great board but i can't swap my hard earned if I'm going to loose some of the boards functionaly. I'm now looking at the Asus M4A785T-M, it's based on the 785G and SB710 chipsets, the NIC is supported (Realtek 8112L) and looks to be a winner, so according to the hardware compatibility listing, it should work find, i hope
