I'm using a version of Windows 7 x64 Home Premium N, which I downloaded from the MSDN (now VisualStudio) subscription site.

 

In my VM Manager settings, I'm running the following settings:

When I attempt to install Windows 7, though, I don't see VirtIO in the browse section. I've tried with a few different versions, and still have been unable to install Windows 7.

 

Does anyone know how to resolve this?

 

Did you download the virtio  drivers on the VM settings page.   And did you enter in that information when you created the VM? 

Derp. I thought I was in the advanced view for the VM, but I was in basic view.

 

I see the VirtIO section on the VM creation / update now, and am able to install now.
