Rajahal
Seagate Barracuda ST315005N4A1AS-RK 1.5TB 5900 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive $99.99 after promo code EMCYRYZ42 (expires 04/07/2010) Slightly faster than most green drives, so good choice for a parity drive. WeeboTech
I'm grateful for all the heads up. It's helped me score the right drives at the right prices. Maybe it would be good for the original poster to delete the threads when the good deal expires. Then the board will not get so cluttered. Link to comment
SSD
I am happy with the increased amount of postings in good deals. it is easy to ignore what you are not interested in. Attempts to curb these posts will discourage these very helpful posts. Link to comment
Rajahal
I'll make an attempt to delete expired deals that I post, but I tend to forget. That's why I post the expiration date with each deal I submit. Link to comment
Mopar_Mudder
Has anyone done any direct comparison with the 5900rpm to the 7200rpm version? As far as speed and power usage is what I was thinking. I thought about getting one of these yesterday but got the 7200rpm instead, because I have 4 already and it was only $10 more. Link to comment
mifronte
Expired deals should be kept for a pricing history. Us bargain hunters would like to determine a true bargain by looking at historical deals. Link to comment
Rajahal
Ah, too late... I went through the past few pages and deleted all my posts of hard drive sales at Newegg with expired promo codes. I left all the posts of stuff that is still available at a 'good deal' price, even if it isn't as cheap as the original deal (the 5 port switch, for example). Link to comment
