[Request] Homebridge/Homebridge-Control4 Docker or starter advice

Featured Replies

Could someone create or give me advice about creating a docker container that can run this Homebridge Software?

Homebridge is a lightweight NodeJS server that emulates the iOS HomeKit API. It supports Plugins, which are community-contributed modules that provide a basic bridge from HomeKit to various 3rd-party APIs provided by manufacturers of "smart home" devices.

I also would also like to be able to install this plugin for Homebridge that will allow the Homebridge Server to talk to a Control4 Home Automation system.

I have never built any docker images but I might be able to figure it out but I would love some advice about which base and other packages would be needed to make this work. It would be a tremendous help if someone could point me in the right direction.

Thanks!!!

I found some people have created dockers here and here. One of them doesn't look like it has been touched in a while but the first has seen some activity in the last couple of months. If someone with docker experience could look at these two dockers I would love to know if either would be a good starting point. Thanks!

Well crap. I guess I need to improve my searching skills. Just found this thread for a homebridge docker. I will move my discussion there. I hate it when I start unneeded threads. Sorry folks!
