No webui, middle of preclear

Featured Replies

I just moved over from Amahi, and I'm in the process of adding my disks to the array.  I have 3 disks in the array, and I am in the process of preclearing a 5 TB disk, but now I can't access my server via the web browser anymore.  I can use putty and log in, but I'm not sure what to look for since I am so new to command lines.  I have tried to use the docker kill command for DashBtn, but the command line just hangs.  Not even sure if that's part of the issue.

Am I able to reboot the server in the middle of a preclear?  Should I?

Looking for advice, thanks

Unless you have a very pressing need to reboot, just leave it alone. The current webgui is single threaded, and when it gets stuck waiting for a response, it won't come back until the response arrives. In your case, when the preclear progresses to the next step, you most likely will get the gui back.

This issue is supposed to be addressed with the upcoming 6.4 beta series, which as of this writing is not available publicly yet.

How long should I wait?  It's been almost 30 hours now
