Mouse won't work when Installing windows 10 VM

Featured Replies

HELP.  I've worked through all the videos etc that I can find, and finally got the windows 10 VM to install.  But for some reason my mouse won't work on the installation screen.  I'm doing it using a VNC remote setup as there is an issue with the graphics card in the computer we have our drives in.  (that's a whole nother story).  So I finally got the installtion to work, going through very carefully using the keyboard as the mouse won't work, hideously slow.  the VM has rebooted after the installation and I'm up to the set up for your area stuff, and the keyboard no longer works.  i can't progress any further and it's taken me 2 hours to get this far!!!!  I really don't want to have to restart, apart from the fact that I don't know what I did to get it to work in the first place.  Any idea why the mouse won't work over the screen where the install stuff is?  I've uploaded a screen grab, my mouse won't go over the blue section in the middle of the screen, so I can't change anything

Try connecting to it with a standalone vnc client, point it at 192.168.0.3:5900

I got the same issue. Had to finish install using keyboard.

Now in OS it's the same thing, mouse is not working. Same thing with Ubuntu.

I found a spare mouse and used it as a passthrough for now.

I am having this exact same issue, it only started after the latest unraid update that I installed a few days ago.
